Recently opened in May 2017, Casa Coimbra is a family run Guesthouse, born from our owners desire to welcome guests as friends,  at their house and garden. With a personal touch and relaxing atmosphere, we invite you to enjoy our spacious rooms, balconies and an beloved Bonsai Garden.

A bit of our history…

We are the Coimbra family, from here, Coimbra. Coincidence? We tell you our history…

Our family has it´s roots here. We have travelled and seen other cities, Lisbon, Mozambique, Brussels, as far as the other side of the world, to Dili and Bangkok… But we always came back to our base.

The house of our aunts & uncles, cousins, grandparents and friends. We love hosting in the garden, with a Bonsai collection self-made by our owner António. The city traditions are ours too: we studied in the University, celebrate the Queima das Fitas and sing the Fado from our City. We know Coimbra like the palm of our hands!

What moves us? The desire to welcome as friends, al those you want to share our Casa Coimbra with us. To host and provide unforgettable moments in a personalized familiar atmosphere, with all the comfort and privacy you are looking for!
